Sirius Data

Have thought up some cracking names, but they were a bit rude so we have settled on our first team being called: “You cannot be Sirius!” We have chosen to represent the Royal British Legion as our primary charity to represent, because I have a feeling Help for Heroes is going to prove very popular with competitors!

The brilliant charity STUBS are looking to put up a couple of teams up & they might be getting a team from Hedley Court taking part which would be absolutely marvellous if this does happen. Check out STUBS at http://www.stubs.org.uk/events.shtml

In the end we had a bit of a disappointing turn out due to illness & perhaps in hindsight not giving ourselves enough time & over complicating event, but we anticipate nearly £4k will have been raised when all is counted up for two great charities at this time of Remembrance.

Look out for 2011’s event & we will encourage people to enter on behalf of a civilian charity & an Armed Services charity. The sponsorship awards will change to reflect this moving forward. Details (simplified) to follow in 2011…
